Bummy Sexy singer Desire Luzinda of the ‘lwaki weekoza’ fame is set to make a return on TV if talks between her and the management of Delta TV come to material conclusion.
Insiders at the station that is owned by ‘tycoon’ Gaster Lule aka Ntake at Muganzirwazza mall in Katwe have told us that Desire has been holed up in meetings with some of the top management, in particular with a top radio presenter and actor Abbey Mukiibi.
Though initially many had thought that her frequent visits there had something to do with delivering her music videos, it has emerged that the singer was actually engaged in a more serious tete-a-tete about a multi-million offer from the fast rising station.
It is further said that with the sequence at which the singer has been visiting that station with the last one being on Tuesday, in the company of her lawyers, it will be just a matter of time before it is finally made official.
With the acquisition of Desire, it is said according to the same source that management believes that she, and a couple of other top female entertainment personalities, will give Delta a favourable niche that will see its fortunes rise.
Desire is not new to television having had a stint with WBS TV on the then immensely popular weekender show with Chopa Chopa. She finally broke through as one of the most sought after female Ugandan singers.
