The masses who collectively meet at the Royal Park keep on a daily basis and are increasing by the day are showing their anger and grief to all those that have contrary intentions to His Royal Highness the Kamuswaga and Kooki as a Kingdom.

On their fifth day of showing their grief, the people of Kooki led by Kooki Old and Current Students’ Association made a peaceful demonstration throughout Rakai town and the surrounding areas of the Royal Palace as they went on calling for the Vice President Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi’s resignation.

People in this association who are mainly the youths had posters which had words like, “SSEKANDI, ON BEHALF OF KOOKI AND THE UGANDAN PEOPLE PLEASE RESIGN”, “KOOKI MY HOME MY LOVE”, “PRESIDENT MUSEVENI, INTERVENE” and so many others.

These people come from different areas of Kyarulangira, Kiziba, Byakabanda, Ddwaniro and many other parts that make up Kooki Kingdom. When it turns dark, the Bakooki gather in their Royal Park and make a camp fire where they are joined by the Elders who narrate a clear story of how Kooki begun and where it is now.

They begin by singing “Ettendo lya Kooki” an anthem of their kingdom and then sit to listen to their elders where they are also given time to pose questions to them which have been bothering all along. The children and women are in big numbers since most of them tend to be moved by the Head of the family from other areas and as a way of learning more information they feel they now can’t miss the chance.
